72nd ACA Annual Meeting | July 29 – August 3, 2022

The American Crystallographic Association has organized its 72nd annual meeting in person after two years of virtual meetings (70th and 71st were held virtually), although it can be attended virtual if it is the prefered method.

The meeting is not only opened to those interested or working on the Crystallography but also on  various fields. Biological, chemical, and material structures experts from all over the world will be there, presenting their researches in these areas.  This wide range of disciplines will lead to a better knowledgement of their own specialities. Considering all the benefits, the M4 group sent a representation to attend the meeting and to be able to implement  and to provide knowledge to all of the scientific colleges also attending the conference.

The Multifunctional Magnetic Molecular Materials group presented the investigation “XtremeD: A new single crystal and powder diffractometer designed for measurements at extreme conditions of pressure and magnetic fields” in an oral session during  the Home-Built Software and Hardware – 3.1.2 (Author Javier Campo Ruíz).
