Prof. Milagros Tomás Lisbona receives gold medal from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University

The Gold Medal of the Faculty of Science Pavol Jozef Safarik University has been awarded to Milagros Tomás Lisbona, research scientific (PhD Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis Institute (ISQCH) / Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Zaragoza | UNIZAR, Spain)

This award has been  granted on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the Foundation for significant scientific cooperation and long-term cooperation in the education of future scientists at the Institute of Chemistry of the Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice.

The ISQCH/M4 Zaragoza group has been collaborating with Prof. J. Cernak team (P. J. Safarik University) for more than fifteen years. Besides, Milagros Tomás has been recently thesis supervisor-specialist and has also been member of the local doctoral commission for Inorganic Chemistry during several years. The Spanish group has hosted Erasmus students, pre-doctorate students and at the present moment, a post-doctorate researcher, all of them coming from the Pavol Jozef Safarik University.

Regarding publications, on May the 26th (2023), has been published in the magazine  “Crystal Growth and Design (Q1)”  the article “An old crystallization Technique as a Fast, Facile, and Adaptable Method for Obtaining Single Crystals of Unstable “Li2TCNQF4” and New Compounds of TCNQ or TCNQF4: Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Magnetic Properties (https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.cgd.3c00160).
